4 Keys to a Great Website

Once you have your domain name and web hosting service, you may think the trip to a wonderful website is almost over. Think again – it’s really just beginning.

As your website is designed and brought to life, there are a lot of things you need to manage what it’s doing – and not doing – to keep your customers happy.

Focus

One major mistake made by many business owners on their website is to try and tell the customers EVERYTHING about their company.

Keep in mind the average potential customer is going to pop onto your site and may decide in 30 seconds or so if they are going to stay – and if you are going to get their business.

If they have to read through pages of information to decide if you are the right company to work with, they are going to move on.

Make sure your site focuses on what you want to sell, why people should come to you, and anything else that makes you stand out in your market.

Load Speed

How long will it take someone to get your website to load?

If you have a site filled with pictures, graphics, videos, audio and other additions, people with slower connections may have a tough time getting your page to load, and may go elsewhere.

Streamline where you can.

Ease of Navigation

If a buyer has to go through various pages on your website, don’t make it difficult. Have obvious, easy to use navigation buttons to avoid frustrating them.

Contact Information

Make sure there are easy and obvious ways for customers to contact you. Not only is this good for customer service, but it also helps to build trust with potential customers. You are letting them know you are willing to talk to them.

In addition to these tips, make sure you have a central and consistent theme on your website. This way, you will begin to create your own brand and style that is visible on every page.

We live in a new, fast changing generation!
New ideas and technologies such as cell phones, computers and websites have changed the way we live. This has lead to a revolution in the way business owners can communicate there products and services to prospective clients. A critical starting point to reach and educate your potential clients is through the innovative use of website design.

The traditional marketing techniques provide a lower return on investment because so much of our lives now revolve around the computer.

There are over 1 trillion website pages around the globe! More business owners are choosing to market their company online through the use of website technology. The only way to allow your prospective clients to learn about your services is through the power of websites. From the ease of people’s homes they can access and learn about potential products, services, and applications. Every business should have a website to further educate their clients more effectively.

A website is platform to which clients and customers can be directed to. Websites are not the magic solution to instantly gain credibility and sales; traditional and other digital techniques must be taken into consideration to proficiently market your business on the web.

With active users on Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter millions of people have access to limitless content. Social media marketing should play a major part of your business marketing. A website is the foundation of online marketing; your business should be listed on the major social networks.

Tradition advertising methods is on the steep decline. Although these methods of brand recognition and advertising can and still are effective, it is much harder to get your message to your “target market”.

A website with proper design is critical to marketing a professional image on the web. If everyone’s on the computer your business should be on the computer too! Cell phone and laptop advertising is growing so fast because that’s what the majority of society uses. Link building and marketing can help direct clients to your website and build credibility.

Marketing through a website combined with the traditional advertising techniques, is the single most effective means of directing and marketing your service to the public.

66 hours spent on the internet monthly (not including at work). In those 66 hours of internet usage 11 billion web searches are made! If your business isn’t using a website to market your products or services, you’re losing out on a huge potential visibility.

Google is the most used site around the globe, and ultimately it’s the only site that will allow customers to find your website. Search engine optimizing is the strategy of improving your website ranking on search engines (Google, Yahoo). SEO is a method of online marketing; it is not a necessity if you have other methods of directing clients to your website. Without a website to display your products and services your business will struggle to grow and to expand new markets.

We offer business websites for starting at our affordable price of $625! We offer great value to our customers. The work involved would cost $3000 and up through our competitors.
Our business websites come with 5 basic pages, more than enough room to give your clients in depth description on your products and services.

We live in an ever changing world.

With the development of many innovative technology’s, the world has never been more connected then it has today. This has sparked a large need for innovative thinkers, or Entrepreneurs.

Those daring enough to embark on the adventure of being their own boss and the master of their own destiny have all the resources they need to become successful.

At Signature Sites we believe success as an Entrepreneur boils down to 3 things:

1: Perseverance

2: Incredible Hard work

3: An unquenchable passion for learning new things

Here is a great look into what advice other world famous business entrepreneurs have to say to you…

Nov, 2010 by Luke Etheridge in Entrepreneurship

Do you have a mentor or someone that you follow to help fuel your Entrepreneurial Drive?

Well if you don’t, get one! – Having a mentor is a great way to keep that Entrepreneurial flame alight, following in the footsteps of a successful person who has already been in your shoes and focused on their dream hard enough to make it a reality.

By following a mentor and studying the process which took them from being an ordinary person to a wealthy and successful entrepreneur, you are increasing the chances of becoming a success yourself.

When looking for inspiration I often find myself consulting Google for quotes and interesting nuggets of information that has been said by some of the world’s most extraordinary entrepreneurs. In a way it is a reminder that other people have experienced what you too are facing, and that if you are relentless when pursuing your goals, you can and will achieve them!

Today’s post is quite a fun one, here are quotes from 17 world famous entrepreneurs!
